Description

Hazama Ando Corporation, founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1873, operates as a comprehensive construction and engineering enterprise with a significant presence both domestically and globally. The company offers an extensive range of services covering the entire project lifecycle, from initial surveys, planning, and design through execution, supervision, and technical consultancy. Its diverse portfolio includes a wide array of building constructions such as corporate offices, manufacturing and logistics facilities, medical and elderly care centers, educational and research institutions, cultural and athletic venues, commercial and entertainment complexes, historical properties, and residential housing. In civil engineering, Hazama Ando undertakes critical infrastructure projects like dams, water and sewage systems, tunnels, roads, land reclamation, bridges, airports, and various public works, alongside specializing in urban renewal, structural civil engineering, and marine construction. Beyond its core construction activities, the company is actively involved in real estate, providing transaction services and managing its own property and security investments. It also delivers environmental solutions, including soil surveys, remediation, waste management (collection, handling, and disposal), and related consulting. Furthermore, Hazama Ando offers planning, design, and advisory services for regional and urban development, as well as environmental enhancement projects. The company's operations also extend to the energy sector, encompassing power generation and the supply of electricity, thermal energy, and other energy resources. Supplementary ventures include the sale of construction materials, machinery, and equipment; the development, licensing, and distribution of software; and the provision of building maintenance and security services. The company officially adopted the name Hazama Ando Corporation in April 2013, having previously operated as Hazama Corporation.
