Description

Widad Group Berhad is a Malaysian investment holding firm primarily engaged in the construction sector and providing comprehensive integrated facilities management services. Its integrated facilities management division delivers a wide array of services, covering routine and urgent maintenance, alongside significant upgrade and renovation projects. Beyond facilities management, Widad Group is actively involved in diverse infrastructure development. Its construction portfolio includes building sewage treatment plants, executing trenchless pipe installation for sewerage networks, conducting large-scale earthworks, and establishing water supply systems for both urban and rural areas. They also construct various types of roads, from single to dual carriageways, and erect low-rise and high-rise buildings using both conventional and industrial building methods. Further extending its construction and infrastructure capabilities, Widad Group specializes in piling foundations, applying bituminous road surfaces, installing road signage and markings, and performing steel structural works. They also manage sub-soil drainage and water distribution networks, and manufacture precast concrete products such as reinforced and non-reinforced beams, kerbs, culverts, and drains. The company's extensive integrated facilities management offering encompasses numerous specialized services. These include mechanical and electrical system maintenance, property care and enhancements, landscaping, and managing concession agreements. The group also handles critical operational aspects like mobilization, demobilization, transition management, financial oversight, utilities management, quality assurance, risk assessment, human resources, customer service, procurement, inventory control, ongoing operations and maintenance, information system management, performance review and reporting, security services, event management, and warranty administration. Furthermore, they provide expertise in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management, energy conservation, waste and surplus material handling, maintaining technical libraries, conducting asset condition appraisals, and implementing robust incident response and disaster recovery plans. Established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009, the company initially operated as Ideal Jacobs (Malaysia) Corporation Bhd. before officially changing its name to Widad Group Berhad in December 2018. Widad Group Berhad functions as a subsidiary of Widad Business Group Sdn Bhd.
