I built every piece of the platform: the data pipeline, the database, the models, the charts and the software. There is no engineering team on one side and a finance team on the other — that is why the probabilistic layer is part of the product, and not a marketing bullet.

I come from two trades that usually sit apart: data engineering and financial analysis. I can build the pipeline that brings the data in from the source, clean it and run it in production — and I can read what comes out: the accounts, the valuation, the risk. That is what you get when you hire me: one person who understands the finance problem and writes the code that solves it.

What I do

  • Data and infrastructure Pipelines from databases, APIs and the web; reference data by ticker and ISIN, trading calendars and currencies; data quality, lineage and day-to-day operation in production.
  • Software and platform Python and PHP on the server, JavaScript in the browser, REST APIs; screeners over tens of thousands of securities, tests on the calculation logic and SEO in four languages.
  • Financial analysis, valuation and risk Discounted cash flows, multiples and cost of capital; market risk measures with their confidence intervals stated; asset allocation and asset-liability management.
  • Advanced analytics and AI Forecasting with time series and neural networks; language systems over annual reports and earnings calls, run on-premise; coding agents with rules and review.
  • Reporting and management control Dashboards, print-ready reports straight from raw data, break-even and process costing; automated invoicing and bookkeeping for a small business.

    Business informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik), major in IT controlling: information systems applied to management control.

  2. Systopia Organisationsberatung, 2017–2019

    First years in Germany, at an organisational consultancy: administration, Drupal and CiviCRM installations, and logic and programming tasks.

  3. Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland, 2020–2021

    Digital analyst: building out the analytics and tracking systems, KPI reporting to measure results, and automating manual processes with Python.

  4. Yes Investmedia, 2020–2021

    Web development: the company website on WordPress and WooCommerce.

  5. Bernal FinTech SL, 2022–present

    Founder. The analysis platform, from data source to screen, built and run by me; plus commissioned work in data, finance and software for third parties.
