It invests in fixed income markets of the United States. The fund primarily invests in US dollar denominated, investment grade inflation protected public obligations of the U.S. treasury that have a remaining maturity of less than five years. It seeks to track the performance of the ICE BofA US Broad Market Index and the ICE U.S. Treasury 0-5 Year Inflation Linked Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares Trust - iShares 0-5 Year TIPS Bond ETF was formed on December 1, 2010 and is domiciled in the United States.
