About this ETF
The CI Japan Equity Index ETF aims to replicate the overall performance, encompassing both capital appreciation and income, of the WisdomTree Japan Equity Index CAD, prior to accounting for any fees and expenses. This underlying Index is comprised of Japanese-domiciled, dividend-distributing companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. A crucial criterion for inclusion is that these firms derive less than 80% of their revenue from within Japan, indicating a significant international footprint. Consequently, the Index explicitly favors companies boasting a substantial global revenue stream.
