Description

Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation is a biopharmaceutical firm focused on the research and development of medications for the aging population. Operating internationally, including in Canada, the United States, and Europe, the company's flagship drug candidate is Fexapotide Triflutate (NX-1207). This compound is currently undergoing various clinical trials for conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia and low-grade localized prostate cancer, with preclinical investigations also underway for hepatocellular carcinoma. Beyond its drug pipeline, Nymox develops and offers two diagnostic products: NicAlert, which identifies tobacco usage, and TobacAlert, designed to detect exposure to secondhand smoke. The company is also actively engaged in developing treatments for Alzheimer's disease. Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation was established in 1989 and maintains its headquarters in Nassau, the Bahamas.
