Kamei’s service offerings extend to a comprehensive Carlife segment, which includes a network of service stations providing refueling, car washing, tire and oil changes, safety and vehicle inspections, coating, and other maintenance, along with auto leasing services. The company is also involved in construction, specializing in steel frames, exterior cladding, and metal siding projects. Moreover, it operates pharmacies and delivers renovation services. As of October 1, 2020, Kamei Corporation commanded a significant operational footprint, comprising 291 gas stations, 34 oil depots, 16 gas terminals, 6 automobile LPG stations, 2 food distribution centers, 104 pharmacies, and a supermarket. Established in 1903 as Kamei Shoten Co., the company adopted its current name, Kamei Corporation, in 1985.
